Shannon Dee (Gilliam) Salow

July 2, 1972 - June 18, 2021

Shannon (Gilliam) Salow of Nashville Michigan, formally of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 18th, after a brief illness.
 

Shannon was born July 2nd, 1972, in Monroe Michigan to James and Sue Gilliam. Shannon married the Love of her life, Dennis Salow, on July 13, 2007. Shannon attended Monroe High School, she was outgoing, fun loving and caring person who enjoyed her Family, Friends, and gardening. Shannon’s kind heart and compassion for animals, especially Dogs, would be a lifelong passion. As both she and Dennis would raise Doberman Pinchers and more recently Cane Corso’s. However, her love extended beyond just any one breed as she created a home for many others.

Shannon’s greatest love was her Family. She especially loved her daughters and grandchildren. She would spend many hours talking on the phone or Face Timing with them. Shannon loved to plan family gatherings at their home in Nashville, Michigan.

To cherish her memory, Shannon leaves her Parents Sue and James, Husband Dennis, Daughters Shayna (Travis) and Jaymee (Kyle). Grandchildren Kallie, Ryder, Ellyana and Adrienne. Maternal Grandmother Maggie Harris, Mother and Father-in-law, Deb and Randy. Sister and Brothers-in-law Kim and Dan, her niece Samantha along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. For those unable to attend we ask that you keep Shannon’s Family in your hearts and prayers.
