Sandra Fay Bashaw, age 74 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Thursday, September 24, 2021 in her home.

Born on September 13, 1947, in Monroe, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Eunice Fay (Sanders) Sundberg. Sandy attended Monroe High School. She married her first husband, Robert Kroeger, on January 11, 1964. They raised a family of four children. In 1992, Sandy married her second husband, Jack Bashaw. Sandy was a loving homemaker to her family. She was very loved and will be sadly missed.

Sandy was a lifelong member of the Sportsman's Gun Club. She was also apart of the ladies auxiliary. Sandy enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, listening to bluegrass, and cooking. Everything she cooked for her family was always delicious. Most importantly, Sandy loved being with her children and grandchildren.

To cherish her memory, Sandy leaves her children: Robert, Jodi, Richard, and Bill Kroeger; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; and siblings: Sheila Ashley, Allison Burt, and Roger Bunch.

Along with her parents and husband, Sandy is also preceded in death by two sisters, Judy and Cindy; and two brothers, Robert and William.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Rupp Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm.
