Samantha Kay (Treadway) Greenlee

Samantha Kay (Treadway) Greenlee, age 30 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
Born on September 17, 1991, in Toledo, Ohio, Sam was the daughter of Debra Kay (Kropaczewski) and Thomas E. Treadway. Sam graduated from Monroe High School in 2009. She married the love of her life, Cory, on September 25, 2016, at his parent’s house in Frankton, Indiana. Together they raised a family of four children and spent over five wonderful years together.
In her free time, Sam enjoyed watching her tv shows, particularly The Originals. She was a huge football fan. Sam especially loved the Patriots until her favorite player, Tom Brady, left the team. She then became a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sam also was a fan of Ohio State Buckeyes and cheered them on win or lose. Sam was always on the go; she rarely took time to relax. One of things she liked doing was shopping, especially on Amazon. Sam had a love for animals as well. She had three dogs, two cats, a bird, and a turtle. Most importantly, Sam loved her children and spending time with her family.
To cherish her memory, Sam leaves her husband, Cory; four children, Alexandrea, Isaac, Alivia, and Barrett; parents, Debbie Treadway-Raker and Thomas (Heather) Treadway; and siblings: Pamela, John (Samaria), Lindsey (Derrik), Darren, Jake (McKenzie), Maggie, Brother-in-law Tyler, and Sister-in-law Shelby Lynn, many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Sam is preceded in death by her dad, John Raker; granny, Kay Kropaczewski; and brothers: Thomas and Jerry.
In accordance with Sam’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit at Rupp Funeral Home on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 1:00 to 7:00 pm. A celebration of life will take place at 7:00 pm that evening with Pastor Davis officiating.
