Ronald L. Wiley

Ronald L. Wiley of Denver, CO, formerly of Monroe, MI went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the age of 75.
He was born on May 29, 1946, in Monroe, MI. He attended Monroe High School. He joined the US Navy in April 1964 and served on the boxing team for the Navy, he was an accomplished boat coxswain. He was stationed in CA, WA, IL, SC, FL and Scotland.
After serving for 21 years as a boatswains mate, he retired in Dec 1994. He then went onto work for Reliatex Inc in Jacksonville, FL and retired in 2011
He married the love of his life Carol A. DuVall on Dec 5, 1964. He loved camping, golfing, bowling, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Edna (Adkins) Wiley, father Thomas Wiley, brother John Wiley, sisters-in-law Beatrice (Kay) Wiley, Peggy Wiley, Donna Gray and Grandparents.
He was survived by his wife of 58 years Carol (DuVall) Wiley of Denver, daughters April (Wiley) Driscoll of Denver, Leann (Wiley) Herndon of Denver, brothers Clyde (Bud) Wiley of Monroe, Charles (Mary) Wiley of Monroe, and sister Joycelyn (Greg) Kapp of Monroe, 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
The funeral service will be at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe MI, 48161 on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 1:30 pm. Father Kishore Babu Battu of St Michael’s Catholic Church of Monroe, will officiate. A visitation before the service will begin at 9 am. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
