Randy Tincher Obituary

Randy L. Tincher

November 17, 1961 - December 30, 2021

Randy Lynn Tincher, age 60 of Monroe, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti.

Born on November 17, 1961 in Ypsilanti, MI. He was one of five children of the late Troy and Mary (Lyttle) Tincher. Randy graduated from Willow Run High School in 1980.

Randy met and married the love of his life: Lori Saurborn on June 25, 1993 in Toledo, Ohio. In their younger years, they played on a couples bowling and co-ed soft ball leagues for fun. They enjoyed spending quality time together, watching their favorite shows: Survivor and Big Brother. Together they raised a family of five children and spent over 32 wonderful years together.

He made his living working at Ford Motor Company at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne. He took pride in his work as a material handler for over 27 years. He was working 12 hour shifts, right up to the date of illness. His coworkers were his second family, and he always spoke highly of  the people he worked with.

Randy loved all sports. He was the Vice President of the Dundee Recreation Ball League Program for years,  even after his kids had outgrown the program. He liked watching any game on TV, but in particular rooted for the University of Michigan Football Team. In his free time, you could find Randy riding his Harley Motorcycle around or playing a round of golf with his boys.

Most importantly, Randy loved being with his family- especially his grand kids. They were his world to spoil and treasure.  He liked the big family reunions when everyone came together. Randy will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.

Beloved husband of Lori Tincher. Loving father of Trista (Chad) Denham, Stephanie (Brandon) Mott, Justin (Samantha) Tincher, Ryan Tincher, and Brendan (Kristin) Tincher. Dearest grandfather of Kohnor Rutherford, Adalynn Mott, Lainey Tincher, and Kaydan Tincher.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his siblings: Roger Tincher, Audrey Martin, Sandy Schuman, and Sheila Hall; and nephew: Scott Martin.
