Jackie Lee Henegar, age 68 of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 peacefully in his sleep.

Jackie was born November 25, 1953 in Monroe, MI to Jack and Beverly (Tolzin) Henegar. He made his living as a mechanic most of his life. Jackie was a member of Victory Temple Church of God. He was active with their food ministry and with God Works. He had a calling and passion for feeding the hungry. Above all else, Jackie loved spending time with family and friends.

Jackie met and married the love of his life: Pamela McCoy on March 5, 1974. They raised a daughter and spent over 45 wonderful years together until Pam’s passing in December of 2019.

Beloved father of Pamela-Jane “PJ” (Thomas) Rhinehart. Loving grandfather of Travis Rhinehart, Tabbitha Daily, Devin Daily, Grace (Rex Jr.) McCoy and Gabriel Rhinehart. Great grandfather of Charlotte McCoy.  Also surviving is Jackie’s father, Jack V Henegar; brother, Charles (Evlynne) Henegar; sister, Diane McMullen; step siblings: Dawn (Ben) Cuprys, Misty Dusseau, Michael Dusseau, and Suzanne (Robert) Bates; brothers in law, Rex (Mary) McCoy , Stanley (Jacqueline) McCoy, and April (Shawn) Higgins, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, including a special nephew, Edgar (Christine) McCoy, whom he helped raise. Jackie will be missed by his loving caregivers, Jennifer Burgess and Robert and Tammy Daily.

In addition to his mother, Beverly, Jackie was preceded in death by wife, Pamela E. Henegar; stepmother, Helen Henegar; sister, Debra Henegar; brother-in-law, Edgar McCoy; and sister-in-law Angel McCoy.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Victory Temple Church of God on Friday November 11, 2022 from 430pm-7pm
