Henry M. Duggan
July 12, 1935 – April 30, 2020
Henry Michael Duggan, age 84 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the IHM Senior Living Community.
Born on July 12, 1935 in Detroit, from the union of Daniel and Nora (Clamcy) Duggan. He was one of three children. Henry went to Holy Redeemer High School in Detroit. Later on, he went to University of Detroit College and received his bachelors degree in engineering.
Henry proudly served in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) during his time at University of Detroit. Although he did not serve during wartime, he was a proud American who loved his country. Henry also worked for the the United States Government before retiring.
Henry was known for being a gentle and generous man. He was beloved by all who knew him, and he will be sorely missed by his loved ones.
Proceeded in death by his parents: Daniel and Nora Duggan and siblings: John Duggan and Sr. Nora Marie Duggan.
In accordance with Henry's wishes, cremation will take place with a Memorial Mass held at the IHM Motherhouse Chapel. Burial of cremains will take place at Mt. Elliott Cemetery in Detroit held at a later date.
Memorial donations in honor of Henry are suggested to the IHM Retirement Fund.
