Gerald A. Bunge, age 65 of Monroe, passed away the morning of Thursday, November 12, 2020 at ProMedica Monroe Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11am with Pastor Jeffrey Heimsoth and Pastor Daniel Potts officiating. Gerald was born June 20, 1955 in Monroe, MI to the late Herman and Phyllis (Elchert) Bunge. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1974. Gerald would meet and go on to marry Pamela Hunter on April 22, 1995 at the Mall of Monroe. He had a long career at Mejier, working 25 years for the company as a general utility worker before retiring.

Gerald was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and also a member of the Wicked Jeeps Southeast Michigan Club. He and his wife, Pam, enjoyed camping, hiking, walking, and just being in the outdoors. Gerald also enjoyed auto racing and weather watching.

To cherish his memory, Gerald leaves his loving wife of 25 years, Pam; two brothers: Kenneth (Carol) Bunge and Robert "Bob" (Barb) Bunge; and two sisters: Peggy Sharpe and Joyce (Ron) Andresen.
