Eileen Jean Bundy, age 61 of LaSalle, passed away at Ebeid Hospice on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Born on June 6, 1960 in Monroe, Eileen was the daughter of the late Wallace and Verna (Galbreath) Miller. She enjoyed her time working as an associate at Big Lots for 22 years. Eileen married the love of her life, Robert Bundy, on August 16, 1976 in Monroe. They raised a family of four children and spent over 45 wonderful years together.

Eileen was a member at Victory Temple Church of God. In her spare time, Eileen enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. She was known for bothering her husband, Robert, while he was working in his garage. Most importantly, her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.

To cherish her memory, Eileen leaves her loving husband, Robert; four children: Robert (Mary) Bundy Jr., Penny (Robert) Revels, Chucky (Jennifer) Bundy, and Greg Bundy; 12 grandchildren: Robert III, Seth, Drew, Hanna, Luke, Brittany, Dalton, Hailey, Colton, Jayce, Emma, and Kayden; six great-grandchildren along with one on the way; and brother, Norm Miller.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her brother, Louie; sister, June; and mother-in-law, Pat Bundy.

Family and friends may visit from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home, where a funeral service celebrating Eileen’s life will be held at 5:00 pm. Bishop Whittaker will officiate. In accordance with Eileen’s wishes, cremation will follow.
