September 17, 1937 – November 17, 2020

Carolyn Geraldine Woelmer, age 83 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at ProMedica Monroe Hospital.

Born September 17, 1937 in Tazewell, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Virgil and Dessie (Williams) Lambert. Carolyn grew up and graduated from high school in Tennessee. She came up to Michigan on vacation where she met the love of her life, Glen R. Woelmer. They got married on July 19, 1958 at East Ida Lutheran Church of Monroe. They raised a family of two children and spent over 62 wonderful years together. They enjoyed going out to eat and to the movies. They liked to vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Carolyn was a loving homemaker to her two daughters. She was an avid animal lover. She took care of all sorts of animals but in particular dogs. Most importantly, Carolyn loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

Beloved wife of Glen Woelmer. Loving mother of Connie (Dale) Burkett and Becky Woelmer. Preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Dessie Lambert.

There will be a private gathering on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Rupp Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
