Blanche E. Migliore Chambo, age 95 of Monroe, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday June 16, 2022.

Blanche was born August 21, 1926 in Flat Rock, MI to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Karafit) Kozumplik. Growing up on a farm, Blanche was never one to shy away from hard work. She helped out on the family farm for many years, then worked at Weis Manufacturing and Ford Motor Company before eventually settling in at Foodtown where she would earn herself a pension. Blanche was happily married to Frank V. Migliore for 47 loving years (1945-1992) until his passing in 1992. Blanche would then go on to marry Raymond Chambo and the two of them shared companionship until his passing.

Blanche loved to travel to Anna Marie Island, FL where her and Frank had a vacation home. She was a member of the Catholic Church in Florida, as well as St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Monroe, and was an essential part of the choir for each. Blanche would sing and Frank would play the accordion. She also was an active member of the Monroe Center for Healthy Aging. In her spare time, Blanche loved to bake for family and friends, enjoy the company of those closest to her, and play cards. She was notorious for sandbagging during a riveting game of Euchre.

To cherish her memory, Blanche leaves her three loving children: Diane (Emerson) Weatherholt, Patricia Pattemore, and Frank (Francine) Migliore; five grandchildren: Todd Weatherholt, Tom Weatherholt, Andrea (Dave) Padot, Eric (Sara) Pattemore, and Carrie (Cliff) Chapman; and eight great grandchildren: Taylor Weatherholt, Alex Weatherholt, Miles Padot, Celia Padot, Lily Pattemore, Catie Pattemore, Will Chapman, and Rose Chapman.

Along with her parents and two husbands, Blanche is also preceded in death by her brother, Frank Kozumplik.

Family and friends may visit from 2pm-8pm at Rupp Funeral Home on Friday June 24, 2022. Blanche will lie in-state at 9am on Saturday June 25, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, where a funeral Mass will be held at 10am. Father Kishore Babu Battu, Pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
