Barbara Ann Fowler, age 84 of Deerfield, passed away the morning of Tuesday March 21, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Barb was born August 8, 1938 in Canisteo, NY to Ernest and Ella (Mills) Beyea. She graduated in 1956 from Canisteo High School. Barb retired from the Ford Motor Company-Milan Plant as a Quality Control Inspector. She would go on to meet and marry the love of her life, Philip Fowler, on December 23, 1956 in upstate New York. Sadly, Philip passed away on August 31, 2020.

Barb was a home body and loved to spend time with her family. Making memories with her grandkids and surrounding them with love was her favorite past time.

Family and friends may visit from 2-8pm on Friday March 24, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home, where a service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 11am. Rev. Terry Braden will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.

To cherish her memory, Barb leaves her two sons: Philip (Darlene) Fowler, Jr and William Fowler; three daughters: Coreen (Thomas) Scheuffele, Dolly (the late Brian) LaFountain, and Kimberly (Don) Zandbergen; two sisters: Dodie Bilby and Linda Beyea; fourteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Barb is also preceded in death by her son, Timothy Fowler.
