Wayne Michael-Cornel Gross, age 44 of Monroe, passed away suddenly unexpected on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Born November 25, 1977, in Monroe. He was the oldest son of Wayne and Carol (Spivey) Gross. Wayne graduated from Monroe High School in 1996. Wayne first worked at Dolce Vita Restaurant as a chef for a decade before working at Angelo’s Chop House for the last three years.
Wayne married the love of his life: Nicole Randazzo on October 2, 2009. He was the most amazing husband, her bestfriend and Nicole's biggest supporter. They spent over 14 wonderful years together.
In his free time, Wayne liked to read comics, draw, make memes, and play video games. He was a big fan going the movies and going to the casino. He had a magnetic personality and loved to joke around. He cared about everyone and he always had great advice for anyone who wanted his opinion. He was laid back, dependable, and levelheaded. He was a big brother to many. Wayne was a great friend and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Beloved husband of Nicole Gross. Son of Carol Gross. Brother of John and David Gross. Uncle of Marcus Gross. Also survived by numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father: Wayne Gross; and by both sets of grandparents.
Everyone is invited to a visitation on Friday August 5, 2022, at Rupp Funeral Home from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. A celebration of life with family sharing will start at 6 pm. In accordance with families wishes, cremation will conclude services.
