Viola Mae (Armstrong) Crawford, aged 94, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida. Born on August 5, 1931, in Belleville, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Robert and Electa Armstrong.
Viola graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to lead a fulfilled professional life as a dedicated hairdresser and later as a skilled dental hygienist. Her work was marked by her commitment to excellence and her genuine care for those she served.
On July 2, 1954, Viola married the love of her life, Arthur James Crawford, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Together, they built a loving home and raised four children, fostering a strong sense of family that Viola cherished above all else.
Viola was a woman of varied interests who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid golfer, a passionate traveler, and devoted much of her time to her family, creating countless memories alongside them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Electa Armstrong; her husband, Arthur Crawford; and her siblings, Eugene Armstrong, Dale Armstrong, Esther Armstrong (Vanderveen), Evelyn Armstrong (Breutsch), and Robert Armstrong.
Viola's legacy lives on through her loving children: Scott (Carrie) Crawford, Barb (Darrell) Huling, Brad (Terry) Crawford, and Dean Crawford. Her grace and warmth continue to inspire her eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, who will always hold her memory close to their hearts.
