Victor J. Siech

October 18, 1934 – March 1, 2023

Victor Joseph Siech, age 88, of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab of Monroe.

Victor was born on October 18, 1934, in Monroe, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Hocza) Siech. After graduating from Monroe High School, Victor made his living as a pattern maker and model builder at Toledo Molding and Die. In his free time, Victor enjoyed being in his shop and woodworking. He would make toys, cabinets, and other furniture.

On October 20, 1964, Victor married the love of his life, Julianne Maurine, at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN. They raised a family of four children and spent over 58 wonderful years together.

To cherish his memory, Victor leaves his loving wife, Julianne; children: Vincent Siech, Harold Siech, Maurine (Paul) Lau, and Matthew (Cathleen) Siech; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and siblings: Joseph Siech and Elizabeth Charboneau.

In addition to his parents, Victor is preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel, and a sister, Ethel Kurtz.

In accordance with Victor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home beginning at 9 am until the time of service starting at 12 pm. Rev Kim and Cindy Semran will officiate.
