Thomas Robert Weier, age 65 of LaSalle, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Born November 3, 1956, in Livonia, MI. He was one of six children of Blonnie (Bell) and the late Raymond Weier. Tom graduated early from Bentley High School in Livonia. Immediately after, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served his country from 1975 to 1982 as a Communications System Marine, obtaining the rank of Sergeant.

After the service, he continued his education at Schoolcraft College to receive his associates degree in accounting. Tom made his living working at transportation company as a manager for many years before retiring in 2002.

Tom met Sheri Decker in Wayne, MI. They got married on December 15, 1979, in Westland. They later renewed their vows in Niagara Falls, NY. Sadly, she passed away in 2014.

Tom was a person of catholic faith. In his free time, Tom loved going bass fishing on his boat. He also enjoyed being outdoors and liked to go tent camping at the River Raisin Marina and Campground. He also had a four-legged companion with a soft spot for his cat: KC. Tom will be deeply missed.

Beloved father of Joshua (Viktorya) Weier, Anna Marie Weier, and Benjamin Weier. Loving son of Blonnie Weier. Dearest grandfather of Julian Weier. Dear brother of Mike, Glenn, Gary & Danny Weier, and Marsha Banks.

Tom was preceded in death by his father: Raymond Weier, and wife: Sheri Weier.

Everyone is invited to a visitation on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Rupp Funeral Home from 9am to 1pm. A funeral service will take place at 1pm with Fr. Giancarlo Ghezzi officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery with a VFW Service taking place.
