Teresa Nadeau Obituary

Teresa Kaye Nadeau

October 7, 1956 - December 13, 2024

Teresa Kaye Baker Nadeau, age 68 of Petersburg, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in her home. She had been in declining health for three years.

Born October 7, 1956, in Monroe, she is the daughter of the late Clayborn and Wilma (Bryant) Baker. She attended Jefferson High School, graduating with the class of 1974. Teresa married her beloved husband of forty-five years, Frank J. Nadeau Jr, on June 23, 1979, in Monroe. She was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association for forty-two years and received her spiritual nourishment from Dundee Baptist Church.

A lifelong homemaker, Teresa loved caring for her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Teresa enjoyed working in her yard and flowerbeds, and riding motorcycles. She and her husband, Frank, enjoyed many trips all over the country on their bike. Most of all, Teresa cherished spending time with her family and pets.

To cherish her memory, Teresa leaves her husband, Frank J. Nadeau Jr. of Petersburg; two children, Rebecca (Judy) Wagschal of Davenport Iowa and Jeremy (Amanda) Nadeau of Dundee; two sisters, Brenda (Glenn) Needham of Monroe and Lana (Daryl) Dwyer of Naples, Florida; seven grandchildren: Alyssa Kleinow, Emma Kleinow-Wagschal, Ava and Elliana Wagschal, and Sophia, Max, and Gavin Nadeau; and her beloved dog, Dakota, and cat, Sadie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Matt Baker, and one sister, Marcia White.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. until services celebrating her life begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161. Rev. George Fountain will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
