Steven J. Everly

November 10, 1958 – April 27, 2026

Steven Jon Everly, age 67 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, at his home.

Born November 10, 1958 in Monroe, Steven was the son of the late Fred Sr. and Helen (Kivett) Everly.

Steven spent the last 34 years living at the Harbor House in Monroe. He enjoyed going for long car rides, doing puzzles, playing with cards, and liked to help with chores. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Helen Everly, as well as brothers, Donald and Fred Jr. Everly and an infant brother, Thomas.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday April 30, 2026, at Rupp Funeral Home from 3 pm until the time of service starting at 6 pm. Officiating is his nephew, Rev. Todd Lewis. Burial will be on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Roselawn Memorial Park at 2 pm.

The Everly family wants to give a special thank you to Harbor House for the outstanding care they gave to Steven over the years and to the many caregivers who became like family. Also, a special thank you to Elara Caring Hospice for the extra care and support over the last year.
