Saturno John D’Arpini II, age 61, passed away on June 27th, 2023. 

John was born on March 23, 1962, in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of three children born to Saturno and Deanna D'Arpini. He graduated from St. Mary's Catholic Central High School in 1980.

Johns passions were many. He enjoyed hunting near the family cabin in Grayling, fishing with his children, cheering for the Michigan Wolverines, while also having a love/ hate relationship with the game of golf. He was drawn to music from a young age, playing multiple instruments including the guitar and drums; however, his love of family outshined them all. 

John was preceded in death by his mother Deanna and his father Saturno. Left to cherish his memory are his four children John D’Arpini, Brian Mabe, Kristy Thompson (Mabe) and Stephen Mabe, eight grandchildren Addie, Esmie, Ava, Tobin, Joy, Annie, Tye and Gabe, brother Jeff D’Arpini (Kay) and sister Connie Tibai (Mike) along with many other loving family members and friends. 

The family will receive guests at a Celebration of Life that will be held at Rupp Funeral Home 2345 S. Custer Rd. Monroe, MI 48161 on Wednesday July 5, 2023 from 2-5pm, with service beginning at 5pm.
