Russell F. Goodale

Russell Frederick Goodale, age 70 of Luna Pier, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 20, 2023, at his home.

Born November 3, 1953 in Monroe. Russell was the son of the late Robert and Janet (Sherman) Goodale. Russ graduated from Mason High School in 1971.

After school, Russ started up his business of floor installation. He worked hard supporting his family and spent over 30 years working before medically retiring in 1998.

In his free time, Russ enjoyed cooking and baking for his loved ones. He liked to be outdoors, hunting and fishing when the season was right. He also enjoyed shooting a good game of pool with friends. Russ will be remembered for his funny personality and sarcastic nature. His laugh was infectious. He had the gift of gab and never met a stranger in his life. Russ will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.

Beloved father of Andrea (Jim Loeffler) Goodale and Amanda (Matt) May. Loving grandfather of Russell (Shayleigh) Goodale, Tala Goodale, Hunter May, and Evan May. Great grandfather of Oakleigh Goodale. Dear brother of Pamela (Jerome) Kremnetz.

In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by brothers: John and Will Goodale.
