Rosena Milam
March 2, 1932 – January 15, 2024
Rosena Milam, age 91 of Monroe, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, in her home. She had been in declining health for two years.
Born March 2, 1932, in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Bertha (Robinson) Black. She married the late Mark Milam, in Tennessee. A short time later, the two moved to Detroit to begin their family. Rosena worked as a painter for several years for a local plastic automotive parts manufacturer.
To cherish her memory, she leaves one son: Gary (Cindy) Milam of Monroe, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Mark Milam; one daughter, Sandra Kusiak; and nine siblings.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are scheduled at this time.
