Ronald William LaVigne, age 77 a life-long resident of Monroe, passed away at 3:58 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in his home. He had been in declining health for eleven years.

Born November 9, 1947 in Monroe, he was the son of the late Bryce and Shirley (Fountain) LaVigne. Ronald attended Monroe High School, graduating with the class of 1966. He married his beloved wife, Sandra Morris, on May 1, 1998, in Toledo, Ohio. Ronald enjoyed a long career as a Tool & Die maker, working for more than thirty years at Ace Packaging, retiring in 1996. After his retirement he also worked for Pioneer Metal and ERD Graphics Specialties as a Tool & Die Maker.

Ronald was a Life-Member of Monroe Boat Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 1138.

To cherish his memory, Ronald leaves his wife of twenty-seven years, Sandra LaVigne; and one brother. Kenny LaVigne.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are currently scheduled.
