Born September 24, 1939, in Monroe. Roberta was the daughter of the late James and Virginia (Parker) Butler.
Roberta met and married the love of her life, Larry E. Palmiter, on October 1, 1955 in Milan, MI. Together they raised a family of two children. They were together for two years before Ben passed away in 2005.
In 1980, Roberta was baptized at the Dundee Baptist Church but later became a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroe. Roberta worked as a Bus Assistant for Monroe Public Schools for 17 and a half years before she retired in 1995.
In her free time, she liked watching The Young and Restless TV show while working on a crossword puzzle. Roberta was an amazing baker and during the holidays made plenty of Christmas cookies for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, she cherished her family, especially her four grandchildren, who she raised and treated as her own. Roberta will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
