Robert Kroeger, Jr. Obituary

Robert Kroeger Jr.

June 18, 1964 – July 5, 2024

Robert Kroeger Jr., age 60 of Monroe, passed away peacefully at the University of Michigan Hospital, on July 5, 2024.

Born to the late Robert M. Kroeger Sr., and Sandra Sundberg, Robert was one of 7 children and was the eldest brother. He was born and raised in Monroe. After High School, Robert joined the US National Guard and proudly served. Later on, he married the love of his life – Beth Jarvis - on November 6, 1992, in Monroe. The two spent 29 wonderful years together before Beth sadly passed away in 2021.

He made his living at Mazda as a Hi-Low Driver for the majority of his life and continue to work hard to provide for his family. “Bob,” as everyone knew him, enjoyed rooting for the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines during the football season and also enjoyed watching old westerns and war movies. Bob was known to be a writer and encouraged his children to write as well. Bob loved the beach life and would walk to the water to hear the waves. He was also known for giving great advice, as well as being the jokester of the family. He loved Blues music, getting the family together, having bonfires, and family barbeques. He prided himself on being the cook at any family event. He was the family “word of reason” and enjoyed helping others. His family could always count on him as a place to call home. Bob helped any and everyone he knew and was proud of the family he created. Most importantly, Bob was a great dad and “the best papa.” In addition, he was a great big brother and he was a loving uncle and “duck.”

Bob will forever be loved and remembered in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beth.

Robert leaves behind 3 daughters; Amber Kohler, Ashleigh Kohler and Tabetha Blair, 2 sons Robert "Bobby" Kroeger and Eddie (Sarah) Blair and an adopted son who he treated as his own, Justin Cochran; 6 brothers; Richard, Joe, Bill “Chubbs,” Larry, Paul, and Thomas Kroeger, and 11 treasured grandchildren; Brooke'Lynn, Jai'Lynn, Collin, Colton, Justin, Kiera, Kaden, Shawn, Leah, Lily and Levi who he loved greatly along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
