Richard C. Moore

Richard C. Moore age 70, died January 3, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Skilled Nursing and Rehab under the care of ProMedica Hospice.

He was born on May 3, 1950, the son of William and Lynn (Manore) Moore. Richard was a 1968 graduate of Dundee High School and worked for his father in the construction business for many years. Richard grew up in Dundee, moving to Monroe and then later settled in Newport in 2008.

He was a gifted musician and a great cook. Often Richard could be found playing the organ and singing in several nightclubs and steakhouses. He had a great laugh, was always fun to be around and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents. He is survived by his only brother Terry Moore of Newport, MI.

Per his request, there will not be any visitation or service. His wish was to be cremated. He will be sadly missed by those who knew him and loved him – but memories of his life will forever be in our minds and hearts. Rest in peace my friend.
