Randy Boden

June 11, 1955 – October 30, 2023

William “Randy” Boden, of LaSalle, passed away, at his home on October 30th, 2023.

Randy was one stubborn man, everyone who knew him, knew this, but boy did he love his family and his grandchildren.  Randy worked hard to provide the best life he could for his family. When he retired from the countertop business, he was able to enjoy his life, kids and grandchildren.  

As his daughters and their families grew and moved away from home, he would FaceTime them and the grandkids frequently. When his health would allow, he loved nothing more than to go watch his grandkids play soccer and baseball.

Even knowing that someday his lungs would fail him, he just left us too soon. We take comfort in knowing that his lungs are now full of fresh air and he is rid of his nemesis, the oxygen tubing! 

He will be truly missed by his parents, Bill and Mary, his beloved wife, Carol (Sutton), his three daughters, Valerie (Rocky) Whaley, Renee (Jon) DuVall and Liz (Jon) Verburg and his brother Chris (Luz) Boden.  Even more, Papa will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Alicia (Kyle), Ethan, Kiley, Evan, Jeraca, Ashton, Gavin, and Bentley.

Randy is preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Carpenter and a grandson, Weston Verburg.

There will be a visitation for family and friends of Randy on Friday, November 3rd from 4-8pm at Rupp Funeral Home in Monroe. There will be a funeral service starting at 7:30 pm. ln lieu of flowers, he would love donations to be made to Friends of Companion Animals, where he found his amazing fur babies, Millie and Mattie.
