Philip Dale Beaudry
April 26, 1941 - April 12, 2026
Philip Dale Beaudry, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 12, 0026, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan. Born on April 26, 1941, in Newport, Michigan, he departed this world just shy of his 85th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and resilience.
Philip's life was characterized by a deep commitment to his family, his work, and his community. A proud graduate of Monroe High School, class of 1959, he later dedicated many years to Roadway trucking as an over-the-road truck driver, retiring in 2002. His hard work and dedication were evident in every mile he traveled, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across the country.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Philip was a man of varied interests and passions. In his younger days, he was a dedicated bowler, sharing the lanes with his beloved wife Doris in leagues at Nortel Lanes and, in later years, at Monroe Sports Center. An avid waterfowl hunter, he cherished the time spent with family hunting on the waves of Lake Erie, as well as deer hunting excursions in Baldwin and the Upper Peninsula. Most importantly, Philip found immense joy in supporting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their school and sporting events, even taking on the role of coach for his grandson's roller hockey team at Dixie Skateland.
Philip was a devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church for over forty years, where his faith and fellowship with the congregation provided strength and comfort throughout his life. Known for his forgiving spirit, kind heart, and unwavering commitment to others, he remained active and engaged well into his 80s.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard D. and Ann (Idukas) Beaudry; his beloved wife of nearly 62 years, Doris (Sandiefer) Beaudry, who passed three years to the day prior on April 12, 2023; and his sisters, Michelle Baldwin and Donna Lajiness. He leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Aaron (Janice) Beaudry of Monroe; daughters: Shannon Burke of Newport, Mel'liss (Frank) Soave of South Lyon, and Jennifer (Matt) Gifford of Saline; sister, Bernadette (Jerry) Bryant of Florida; seven grandchildren: Jena Burke, Kyle (Alex) Burke, Averie Beaudry, Ella Beaudry, Ian Gifford, Isaiah Gifford, and Nick Navarre; and six great-grandchildren: Cameron, Sarai, Addison, Karson, Allie, and Kayden.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, followed by services celebrating his life at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Matthew Foley. Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In memory of Philip, contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting his lifelong commitment to caring for others, especially children.
Philip Dale Beaudry will be remembered for his deep love, fearless spirit, and the enduring impact of his kindness and generosity. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
