Peggy Lee Connolley-Torpey

September 30, 1950 – October 31, 2024

Peggy Lee Connolly-Torpey age 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Peggy was born on September 30, 1950 and was the daughter of Robert and Betty (Ray) Connolly. She was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School and employed as the Director of the Monroe County Emergency Management. Peggy enjoyed ceramic painting, crocheting and loved spending time with her family. She was also an active life-time member of the VFW Post 1138 Auxiliary. On February 2, 1974 Peggy married her love and soulmate Richard Torpey, Sr. Together they had two children.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Richard; son Richard (Christina) Torpey, Jr.; Brother Robert “Bud” (Maria) Connolly; sister, Patricia (Mark Murphy) Connolly; five grandchildren whom she adored, Skyler Torpey, Erin Torpey, Dakota Smith, Dominic Smith and Leann Torpey; and her three bonus children Gena Snodgrass, Patrick Williamson and Christopher Williamson.

Sadly, Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Heather Torpey-Isaacson.

Family and friends may visit at Rupp Funeral Home from 1:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024 where the VFW Post 1138 Auxiliary service will be at 6:00pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, November 8, 2024 with Pastor Harold Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI.
