Patrick Edward Weick, age 61 of Newport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at home with loved ones by his side.

Born June 15, 1964, in Monroe. He was the son of the late Harold and Catherine (Bixman) Weick. Patrick graduated from Huron High School in New Boston in 1983.

Pat met the love of his life, Tammie Sue Thompson, while attending a wedding together. They got married on December 22, 1997, in Toledo, Ohio. They raised a family of six children and spent over 28 wonderful years together.

Pat worked as a Machine Repairman for Chrysler Automotive at the Warren Truck Assembly. He just retired this year, after 30 years of dedicated service. In his free time, Pat loved playing with his kids and eventually grandchildren. His love for his family was immense. Pat will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones. 

Beloved husband of Tammie Weick. Loving father of Richard (Sara) Weick, Natalie (Paul) Labbe, Melanie Szwara, Logan Weick, and Genoa Weick. Dearest grandfather of Jackson, Briella, Charles, Penelope, Maddox, Amelia, and Ivanna. Dear brother of Cathy (Carl) Pellam, Jeff (Connie) Weick, Les Weick, Greg Weick, Jerry (Christine) Weick, and Jim (Jane Marie) Weick. Also survived by son-in-law, Randy Kemper.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Megan Kemper.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place with no services at this time. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
