Patrick M. Bain, Sr.
March 12, 1962 – February 23, 2025
Patrick Michael Bain, Sr. age 62 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Born March 12, 1962 in Monroe. He is the son of Richard Bain Sr. and Marilyn Bossick. Pat attended Monroe High School.
Pat made a living working at Great Lakes Towers and Antenna company as a Crew Leader for 25 years. He also did construction, painting, and maintenance on the side with his son. Pat became an ordained minster in 2018. He was an active Pastor at the House of Restoration Church in Monroe for the last seven years. Pat was very active in the church and would volunteer his time to drive those in need around and do favors for parishioners.
Patrick first married Kendra Daschner for five years, his second marriage was to Rissa Edwards for 25 years and then Kelli Bain for five years. Patrick was a rider in the ABATE (American Bikers Aiming Toward Education) Region 18 of Michigan, and he was a Road Captain. Pat enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and was affectionately given the name “WrongWay.” He was a jack of all trades and would tinker with his bike and cars.
In his free time, his passion was going fishing and hunting when the season was right. Pat was also a talented musician and would play the guitar and drums. He will be remembered for being the world’s best dad to his kids. He was their biggest fan and support system. Pat was a very caring and selfless person; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Pat will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.
Beloved father of Patrick (Keisha) Bain II and Siearra Bain. Stepfather of Angel Dingman, Kendell Dingman, and Chelsea Dingman. Loving grandfather or otherwise known as “boo boo” of Braedyn Grove, Chloe Bain, Dahlia Bain, Maddox Bain, Ezra Bain, Austin Roberts, Ethan Roberts, Terah Godin, CJ Godin, Cole Brewer, Connor Brewer, and William Brewer. Dearest son of Richard Bain Sr. and Marilyn Bossick. Dear brother of Richard Bain II. Also survived by former spouse: Rissa Edwards.
Pat was preceded in death by grandson: Jr. Brewer.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home from 9:30 to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Officiating is Pastor David Besedich, of the House of Restoration Church. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery in Ida.
