Patricia Carol Sheets, age 81 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Wellspring Lutheran Home.

Born on November 20, 1943, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Pat was the daughter of the late Ray and Ruby (Sutton) Gulley.

Patricia married Michael Cloum in 1959, which they had a family of three children. She later went on to marry James Sheets on March 19, 1982. They spent over 28 years together before he sadly passed in 2010.

She was employed in various places but her favorite profession was being a homemaker. Patricia had a love of cooking and baking. She also loved spending time with family and friends, who will miss her tremendously.

Patricia was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Monroe Chapter.

She is survived by her children: Michael R. Cloum of Temperance, Kelly Carrier of Monroe, and Ronald Cloum of Monroe; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and siblings: Gloria Horvath of Arizona, Donna Euchbauer of Oklahoma, and Larry Gulley of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband: James Sheets; and siblings: Barbara Postlethwait, Phyliss Reeves, Lorene Webb, and Gary Gulley.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
