Patricia Anne McKinley, age 79 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Seacrest Nursing Home.

Born October 2, 1946, in Mansfield, Ohio. Pat was the daughter of the late Frank and Elanor (Kirsch) Herold. Pat graduated from St. Peter’s High School.

Pat was a loving homemaker to her two daughters growing up. Once they were older, she continued her education at Monroe Community College to receive her associate’s degree in applied science. Pat became a Respiratory Therapist at the University of Michigan Hospital for about 15 years before retiring.

In her younger years, Pat used to go bowling. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and crocheting. Pat will be remembered for her goofy personality and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

Beloved mother of Debbie (Mark) Hass and Cindy McKinley. Loving grandmother of Topanga Hass and Tyler McKinley. Great grandmother of Jackson McKinley.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a brother, John Herold.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place with a memorial at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
