O. Lynn Evans

O. Lynn Evans, age 58 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home with her daughter Stacie, best friend Tracy, son-in-law Ken, and dear friend Jodi by her side.
Born August 8, 1962 in Aliceville, Alabama. Lynn was the daughter of Donald Evans and Bonnie Goodwin. Lynn was proud of her career working at Marathon Petroleum Refinery as a Process Specialist for many years before having to medically retire.
Lynn met the love of her life: Larry Fultz. They got married on February 3, 2007 in Monroe. They raised their family and spent over 12 wonderful years together before Larry's passing in 2019.
Lynn was a member at the Monroe Full Gospel Church. She was a Christian woman who liked to have reflection time, thinking of the Lord. In her free time, Lynn enjoyed watching sports and read often. Most importantly, she treasured her time with her family, especially her daughter who was more like a best friend. Lynn will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
Beloved mother of Estacia (Ken) Barzo of Monroe. Stepmother of Brandon Fultz of Monroe and Aaron Snavely of Monroe. Dear daughter of Donald Evans. Loving grandmother of Preston Barzo, Spencer Barzo, Madison Fultz, Logan Fultz, and Carson Fultz. Dearest sister of Robert Dean (Jody) Evans of Gransby, CT and Matthew Evans of Monroe. Stepsister of Ron (Sherry) Byers, Glen (Coelina) Byers, Joyce (Ken) Gooch, and Cindy Byers, all of Hudson, MI. Also survived by lifelong friend: Tracy Ables.
Lynn was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Fultz; mother: Bonnie Goodwin; stepmother: Deanna Evans; and stepfather: Charles Goodwin.
Everyone is invited to a visitation on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home from 1:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home starting at 11:00 am. Officiating is Pastor Harold Raines. Burial will follow immediately to Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorial donations in honor of Lynn are suggested to St. Jude's Research Children's Hospital or Monroe Full Gospel Church.
