Muriel Elizabeth McBeth, age 101 of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the IHM Motherhouse.

Born September 30, 1923, in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Olive (Connor) Beard. Muriel graduated from St. Mary High School in Detroit in 1941.

Muriel met and married the love of her life: Carroll R. McBeth on October 16, 1943. They raised a family of eight children and spent over 35 years together before Carroll sadly passed in 1978.

Muriel was a devoted Catholic her whole life. She was a member at the IHM Motherhouse and always attended mass every week. Muriel lived her life according to her Catholic faith.

Beloved mother of Karen Chopra, Raymond (Debra) McBeth, Sally McBeth, Dean (Lisa) McBeth, and Glenn McBeth. Loving grandmother of five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Muriel was preceded in death by husband: Carroll; Sons: Alan and Mark McBeth; and daughter: Carol Lynn McBeth.
