Milo Keith Watters, age 71 of Monroe, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the ProMedica Regional Hospital of Monroe.

Born February 9, 1953 in Detroit, MI. Milo was the son of the late Francis and Pauline (Sexton) Watters. Milo attended Jefferson High School and later received his GED.

Milo met his wife: Sherry Keister, at a friend’s party. They later got married on July 20, 1974 at the First Baptist Church of Monroe. They had just celebrated their 50 anniversary. He was her rock and soulmate.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting on their property. He even carved his own bows and arrows. Milo liked to cook and read. He was smart as a computer whiz as well as he excelled in video games. Milo loved to play the guitar, either acoustic or electric for fun. Milo was also a huge University of Michigan Football fan and would watch every game they played. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.   

Beloved husband of Sherry Watters. Loving brother of Francis (Debbie) Watters, Jr., Sylvia Gorski, Sandra (Dan) Robinson, Karen (Mike) Greer, and Mary Grancitelli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Milo was preceded in death by brother: Charles (Linda) Watters; and niece: Angela Watters.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no services at this time. Burial of cremains will be interred at Roselawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.ruppfuneralhomeinc.com
