Michael Louis Gaudaen, Jr., age 55 of Monroe, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Born November 9, 1966, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Michael was the son of Michael and Linda (Frenzell) Gaudaen. His family eventually moved to Naperville, Illinois where Michael attended and graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University. Michael received a second degree as Physical therapist and eventually established his own business as a massage therapist and later became a life coach.

Michael enjoyed eating good food, reading books, and watching movies. Most importantly, Michael loved his two children, Christopher and Sarah. Being born in U of M Hospital also started him on a journey of being a lifelong passionate Wolverine fan.

To cherish his memory, Michael leaves his children, Christopher Gaudaen and Sarah Gaudaen; parents, Michael and Linda Gaudaen; sister, Faith Gaudaen; and mother of his children, Dina Ayers. Michael is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Gaudaen; his paternal grandparents, George and Blanche Gaudaen; and maternal grandparents, Morris and Joan Frenzell.

In accordance with Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Rupp Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
