Margaret was known for her bold personality, charm, wit, and sassiness. She always told it like it was. She was a loving, passionate woman who was always there for her friends and family. She was easily loved by everyone who met and knew her.
Margaret’s greatest passion was spending time with her surviving life partner, Willem (Wim) Munnik, of 34 years. Together they spent their days traveling, bowling, golfing, and walking. She enjoyed evenings on the patio on her swing, listening to music and admiring the colorful flowers Wim had planted for her. She cherished time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her two children, Cynthia Curson and Roy Thompson of Monroe.
Her grandchildren include Angela (Darryl) Dillard, Shawn (Stephanie) Curson, Robin (Jonathan) Heinzerling, Mitchell Lawson, and Cassie Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Lawson; grandson, Aaron Thompson; son-in-law, Dennis Curson; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Thompson; and her siblings: Reba, Pauline, Ralph, Lela, Dick, Patricia, and Bob Ridenour.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, Fountain View, and ProMedica nursing staff for their kindness and care.
