Leona Grace Armstrong, beloved daughter of Brandon and Melissa (Thoma) Armstrong, was born into the arms of her heavenly Father at 7:57 a.m. on June 11, 2024, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

Leona was a welcome surprise. At just seven and a half inches long, she loved when mom ate Barbeque and Taco Bell, often rubbing her mommy’s tummy in appreciation.

To cherish her memory, Leona leaves her parents, Brandon and Melissa; three sisters: Madyson, Abigail, and Charlotte Armstrong; maternal grandparents, John and Deanna Thoma; paternal grandparents, Sheila (AJ) Coates and Scott Armstrong; paternal great grandfather, Donald Gring; paternal great grandmother, CJ Armstrong; three aunts: Mikayla (Matt) Lucey, Brianna Walker and Brooke Walker; and a host of cousins.

Leona was welcomed into heaven by her great-grandparents.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161, where services will begin at 1 p.m. Rev. Fr. Hendrico Rebello will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested the family to assist with purchasing a marker for Leona.
