Lavonia M. D’Arpini

December 11, 1946 – January 15, 2022

Lavonia Marie D’Arpini, age 75 of Monroe, passed away the morning of Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the ProMedica Hospital of Monroe.

Born December 11, 1946, in Speedwell, Tennessee, Lo was the daughter of the late Conrad and Carrie (Williamson) Braden. On April 1, 1966, Lo married the love of her life, Robert D’Arpini, in Monroe. They raised a family of two children and spent over 44 wonderful years together before his passing in 2010.

Lo had a passion for studying her family genealogy and the history of Monroe. She was even referred to as ‘Lo Marie-Monroe Historian.’ It was a title she and her family was proud of.

To cherish her memory, Lo leaves her children: Rob (Cassy Perry) D’Arpini and Lynn (Kurt) Thayer; grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Thayer; and sister, Anita Braden Lo is preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Carrie Braden, and husband, Bob D’Arpini.

In accordance with Lo’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no services at this time. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
