Larry Eugene Williams, age 65 of Monroe, passed away the morning of Saturday, May 1, 2021 at ProMedica Regional Hospital of Monroe. 

Born March 30, 1956 in Vandalia, Illinois. Larry was one of six children of the late Murl and Evelyn (Dunbar) Williams. Larry graduated from Collegedale Academy in Tennessee in 1975. He continued his education at Chattanooga College in Tennessee.

Larry made his living working as a Master Mechanic all his life. He started out at the Honda and Nissan Dealerships. Larry had also started his own mechanic shop called Lew’s Mechanics for many years before retiring.

Larry loved classic muscle cars; you could find him in the garage tinkering on anything automotive in his spare time. At one time, he cherished his 67’ Chevrolet Camaro.

Beloved father of Tisha (Kenny) Fields. Loving grandfather of Kristen Kreidel, Jacob Fields, and Isaac Fields. Great-grandfather of Evelyn Bundy. Dear brother of Jeannie Summers and Shirley Williams.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by siblings: Sandra Moore, Murl “Butch” Williams Jr., Jimmy Williams.
