Larry Keith Quint

August 18, 1938 – January 1, 2025

Larry Keith Quint, age 86 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025 at Hampton Manor Assisted Living of Dundee.

Born August 18, 1938, in Elmore, Minnesota, he was the son of late John and Mary (Schumann) Quint. Larry married the love of his life, Diane Louise Erdahl on February 28, 1958. They spent a wonderful sixty-six years together. Sadly, she preceded him in death on April 9, 2024.

Larry proudly served for his country in the US Navy from 1957 until 1975, retiring as Chief Petty Officer. Upon his retirement from the US Navy, Larry was employed by North Star Steel for several years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1138.

To cherish his memory, Larry leaves his three sons: Michael (Diana) Quint of Monroe, Roland (Sabine) Quint of Germany, and Larry J. Quint of Belleville; three grandchildren: Christen (Matt) Calvin of LaSalle, Stephen (Sarah) Quint of Monroe, and Nichole (Kody) Orkis of Virginia Beach, VA; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Osmundson of Delavan, MN; and one brother, Roger Quint of Minneapolis, MN.

In addition to his wife, Diane, and parents, Larry was preceded in death by an infant son, Lynden; three brothers: Robert, Alva, and Harold; and three sisters: Isabell, Marian, and Hazel.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and his cremated remains will be inurned next his wife at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, Minnesota, at a later date.
