Larry W. Manning

Larry W. Manning, age 70 of Monroe, passed away the morning of Tuesday November 2, 2021 at Wellspring Lutheran Services.
Larry was born September 26, 1951 in Monroe, MI to Edna J. Smith and the late Ernest S. Manning. He attended and graduated from the Monroe County ISD. Larry was a member of Evergreen Acres Missionary Baptist Church. He loved watching every kind of sports there is on TV. He always rooted for the Tigers, but his all time favorite sports team was the University of Michigan Wolverines football team. Larry’s room was all decked out in maize and blue. He also enjoyed watching The Rifleman and jamming out to country music.
To cherish his memory, Larry leaves his mother, Edna Manning; brother, Dennis Manning (Norman McFall); sisters, Pamela (Dean) Katschor and Regina Manning (Todd Bolton); and nephew, Ryan Katschor.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Manning.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 1130am-130pm on Thursday November 4, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home, where a funeral service celebrating Larry’s life will be held at 130pm. For the safety of the family, masks are being requested for all those planning to attend, vaccinated or not. Masks will be provided. Burial will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all of Larry’s caretakers throughout the years, the wonderful people at ProMedica Hospice, and the compassionate, caring staff at Wellspring Lutheran Services.
