Kimberly A. Rigsby

Kimberly Ann Rigsby, age 56 of Carleton, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 28, 2025, surrounded by family at the Corewell Health Trenton Hospital.
Born January 7, 1969 in Trenton, MI. Kim is the daughter of James Killian and the late Judy Cox.
Kim met the love of her life: David Rigsby on March 8, 1986. They later got married on December 10, 1990, in Toledo, Ohio. She was a loving homemaker to her husband and three sons. They enjoyed going fishing as well as going to live music concerts together. They spent over 38 wonderful years together.
Kim was a member of Monroe Full Gospel Church. In her free time, she enjoyed going to play Bingo. Kim will be known for her funny and eccentric personality. She was forever loving in nature. Most importantly, she adored her family, especially her grandkids. Kim will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
Beloved wife of David Rigsby. Loving mother of Tony Rigsby, Thomas Killian, and David Rigsby Jr. Dearest grandmother of Haylie Rigsby, Adalynn Rigsby, Jacob Sanders, Keith Sizemore, Veda Ferrante, Gabrielle Rigsby, and Mia Rigsby. Dear daughter of James Killian. Sister of Melinda Masson. Also survived by a special niece: Brenda Stewart.
Kim was preceded in death by mother: Judy Cox; grandson: Avery Rigsby; and three brothers: David Killian, Jeff Killian, and Larry Cox.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home from 1:00 -5:30 pm. The funeral service will start at 4:00 pm. Officiating is Pastor Harold Raines. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will conclude services. A luncheon will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Monroe, Hall 3 starting at 7:00 pm.
