Kimberly Sue Ford

Kimberly Sue Ford, age 48, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Center, Sylvania, Ohio, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Born on September 16, 1977, in Monroe, Michigan, Kimberly was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and humor touched all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Monroe High School, Kimberly dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Nurse Aide at Brookdale Senior Living. Her compassion and dedication to her work were evident in the love and care she provided to all her residents. Sadly, shortly after her diagnosis, Kimberly had to medically retire in 2020, but her impact on those she cared for continued to be felt.
Kimberly had a zest for life that was infectious. She cherished her time listening to music, with a particular fondness for 80's Rock, and was known for her ability to brighten any room with her laughter and humor. A lover of naps, she often indulged in long, restful sleeps, rejuvenating her spirit. As a devoted animal lover, she adored her pets, especially her Chihuahua, Bruno, whom she deeply missed after his passing.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Donna Patton; paternal grandparents, Ernest F. and Helen Bukovitz; and her cherished aunt, Diane Prater.
To cherish her memory Kimberly leaves behind her husband, Kyle Ford; daughter, Nevaeh Ford; son, Case Ford; devoted parents, Ernest and Karla Bukovitz; brother, Thomas (Mary) Bukovitz; sister, MaryJean Renwick; and six beloved nieces and nephews: Allyssa (Drew) Siebarth, Adrianna (Adam) Bailey, Gavin Bukovitz, Peyton Renwick, Parker Renwick, and Mae Renwick. She will also be dearly missed by her uncle, Harold (Katy) Patton, as well as many extended family members and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Rupp Funeral Home, located at 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI, 48161. She will be inurned at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kimberly's memory are suggested to the family.
Kimberly’s warmth, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and laughter will forever be cherished.
