Kay Ann Moore, age 70, of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Born July 23, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Alice (Morse) Kreger. Kay graduated from Monroe High School with the class of 1971. She went on to marry Raymond Moore at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in 1975, and together they raised two children. Sadly, after more than 31 years of marriage, Raymond passed.

Kay was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. She made her living as an administrator for Monroe County.

Kay was a loving and caring person. She loved her family with her whole heart but her most precious title was Nanny to her grandson, Mason Ray Moore.

To cherish her memory, Kay leaves her two children, Stephanie and Scott Moore, a grandson, Mason, a special sister-in-law Ann (Rene) Moore and many nieces and nephews.

Kay is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond, her brother Kim  Kreger and her parents.

A memorial service in Kay’s honor will be held on Thursday, November 16 at 11 am at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
