Kathleen Jordan, age 77 of Monroe, formerly of St. Clair Shores, passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at ProMedica Regional Hospital of Monroe.

Born January 14, 1947, in Detroit, MI. Kathy was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Jezowalicz) Kubisiak. Kathy grew up in St. Clair Shores and graduated from South Lake High School. Kathy then continued her education at a Beauty School to become a hairdresser for eight years.

Kathy met and married the love of her life: Scott Jordan on March 3, 1973, in St. Clair Shores. They raised a family of two daughters. After their children were grown, she followed Scott for his job. In 2005, they moved down to Del Rio, Texas, 2006 to Albert Lea, Minnesota, 2016 to Des Moines, Iowa, then lastly in 2019 settled in Monroe. They spent over 51 wonderful years together.

In her free time, Kathy enjoyed shopping. Most importantly, she loved being a homemaker to her kids and husband. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and cherished spending quality time with them while dancing or during their extracurricular activities and events. Her family was her pride and joy. Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of Scott. Loving mother of Tracey (Matt) Wisner and Kimberly (Kevin) Kowalik. Dearest grandmother of Sophia and Kasia Kowalik and Maddie Wisner. Dear sister of Kenneth Kubisiak, Karen (Dave) Hannigan, and Kevin Kubisiak. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Kathy are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
