Justin Edward Liedel, 25, of Austin, Texas formerly of Monroe, died Friday May 1 in Austin.Friends may call from 12 noon until a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. The Rev. Von Loop, pastor of Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.Justin was born October 27, 1983 in Lincoln Park, he was the son of Christopher and Valerie (Pricopio) Liedel. He married Rachel Hunt May 6, 2006 in Saline.He was a 2001 graduate of Monroe High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Written Communication from Eastern Michigan University in 2006. He was a superb writer and musician.Justin worked for Blizzard Entertainment in Austin for three years, where he was a team leader and game designer. His professional credits include support and development of World of WarCraft – Wrath of the Lich King.He is survived by his wife Rachel Liedel of Austin, TX; father, Christopher Liedel of Monroe; mother and step-father Valerie and James Kittle of Monroe; three brothers, Tristan Liedel, Daniel Kittle and Beau Kittle all of Monroe; two sisters, Thalia Liedel of Monroe , Anne (Ken) Laurian of Canton and grandparents Dr. Warren and Barbara Liedel of Monroe.He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James and Henrietta Pricopio. The essence of Justin's spirit and view of life is eloquently expressed in a passage from Antoine de Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince: "On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." ("It is only with the heart one can see rightly.
