Joseph E. Boylan

Joseph Edward Boylan, age 46 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2024, at his home.
Born August 27, 1977, in Sylvania, Ohio. He was one of four children of Dennis and Sandy (Miller) Boylan. Joe graduated from Monroe High School in 1995, where he played varsity basketball. He continued his education at Monroe Community College.
After school, Joe started working at Bay Corrugated Container packaging company for 20 years. He then when to work at Jeep Manufacturing at the Toledo Plant for the last six years as a maintenance supervisor.
Joe married Mariana DeLuca on June 12, 1999, and went on to have two sons. Joe enjoyed playing in an adult baseball league as well as collecting baseball cards. He was an avid Detroit sports fan and liked to watch any game.
Joe loved his four-legged companion: Liam. Joe will be remembered as a good father to his boys and his fun personality. He will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.
Beloved father of Noah Boylan and Lucas Boylan. Loving son of Dennis and Sandy Boylan. Dearest brother of Dennis (Laura) Boylan, Melissa (Steven) Urbanski, and Ashley-Lynn (Robert) Ryder. Dear uncle of Denny & Violet Boylan, Kiley & Hallee Urbanski, and Robbie & Amelia Ryder.
Joe was preceded in death by grandparents: Anna Mae & William Boylan and Chuck & Joyce Miller.
Everyone is invited to a memorial gathering on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home from 2 to 7 pm. A Celebration of life will conclude services at 7 pm. Officiating is Rev. Larry Detruf.
