Jane Ann Biggar
March 11, 1966 – January 21,2023
Jane A Biggar, aged 56, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, January 21st, 2023, at Monroe ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Jane was born on March 11, 1966, in a small village near Lincoln, United Kingdom. She was the daughter of the late Trevor and Sheila (Randle) Beckworth.
Jane grew up and lived in and around Lincoln until 2002, when she emigrated to the USA, living and working in Monroe, Michigan since 2006. Despite living in America for 20 years she always missed her childhood home of Lincoln, England and was always proud of her Lincoln roots.
During her time in the USA she got to accomplish many of her bucket list items including traveling to places such as Niagara Falls, and dipping her toes in the Gulf of Mexico, however she achieved her biggest personal goal when she learnt how to ride a motorcycle and purchase her first and only bike in 2013, a Harley Davidson Soft-tail. She was always happy with the wind in her hair riding around the Michigan and Ohio countryside.
To cherish her memory, Jane leaves her loving husband of 20 years Martin; a son, Gavin Redfearn (Gazza); a daughter, Hayley (Brian) Redfearn (Hayleybells); two brothers: Ian (Tracy) Beckworth and Shawn (Cheryl) Beckworth; and a sister, Helen (Paul) Manu.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Trevor and Sheila Beckworth.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 until 2:30 pm on Saturday January 28th, 2023, at Rupp Funeral Home. A service in honor of Jane will take place at 2:30 pm with Rev. Larry Detruf officiating.
