Jacqueline C. Barronton, age 46, of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. 

Jacki was born November 19, 1976 in Monroe, Michigan. She graduated from Monroe HIgh School and went on to make a career for herself as an insurance customer service representative. 

In her spare time, Jacki loved to play games, whether it was video games, cards or board games. She also was an avid music fan.  But above all else, Jacki loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing laughs and making memories.  

Jacki was preceded in death by her parents, Donald G. Barronton and Dolores Barronton.

She leaves behind her partner Stacy Krotky, her siblings:  Susan (Alan) Petree, Deborah Carter, Tammy (Jeffery) Hensley, and Mary (Tracey) Cornoryer.  James ( Joyce) Barronton.  She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews: Adam (Natasha) Petree, Aaron (Julia) Petree, Andrea (William) Steenbergen, Jill Carter. Christopher Carter, Jennifer Carter, Alyssa Lomik, J.T. Hensley, Heather (Dustin) Diehl, Curtis Barronton, Phillip Barronton and several great nieces and nephews.  

Our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved baby sister, Jacki, Visitation is from 1-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home in Monroe, Michigan, where a celebration of life will be held at 7p.m.  In accordance with Jacki's wishes, cremation will immediately follow. 

Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Jacki's honor is asked to please do so to any of the numerous gay pride organizations that support and provide resources to the LGBTQIA+ community.
